Hollywood Arts is open Monday through Friday 12- 7 pm. Classes are designed to help high-risk young people move into independent lives by immersing them in creative-based learning as a way to build self-esteem and help promote thinking and job-readiness skills.
The Hollywood Arts’ Center is open for young people to attend art, music and media classes on a drop-in basis in a 10-week quarter. These classes have open enrollment and are ongoing. Our classes focus on: (1) thinking skills, (2) self-expression, and (3) skills-based knowledge.
WHAT WE OFFER:
1. Transition to College Active students who attend 3 classes a week for one semester or more may be eligible for the Transition to College program. This program provides assistance with college paperwork including placement exams, counseling appointments, class schedules, and financial aid. Hollywood Arts will also provide scholarships to eligible students to attend community college.
